Sophie Fawns

Sophie Fawns, 22, is a rising star for the NSW Swifts, playing as Goal Attack and Goal Shooter. Hailing from Wagga Wagga, Sophie made her debut for the Swifts at just 19. Known for her exciting play, she nailed the buzzer-beater to send the Swifts to the 2023 Grand Final. A product of the Swifts pathway, Sophie has represented Australia at underage and Fast5 levels, winning the 2023 Fast5 World Series. With her strong shooting ability, versatility, and passion for raising awareness of ovarian cancer, Sophie is one of Australian netball's brightest prospects.
