Since the formation of the Swifts over 100 players have donned either the inaugural yellow and blue dress of the Sydney Swifts (1997-2007), or the famous red dress the team has worn since rebranding as the NSW Swifts in 2008.
From 1997-2007 the Swifts were known as the Sydney Swifts and contested Australia's then national league - the Commonwealth Bank Trophy. In that time 46 players wore the yellow dress of the Swifts before the club changed to red, white and blue in 2008. This is their Honour Roll.
Below is the Honour Roll of players who wore the club uniform in competitive games from 2008 onward. This was the year the club grew to encompass all of NSW.
A stalwart of the Sydney Swifts, Cath captained the inaugural NSW Swifts team in the 2008 ANZ Championship, leading them to the Premiership (a first in the Red Dress). A Diamonds stalwart too, she remains one of the greatest-ever Swifts.
Selina was named Vice Captain of the inaugural NSW Swifts team in 2008. A Sydney Swifts veteran mid-courter, she helped the Swifts to the inaugural ANZ Championship Premiership before retiring following the Grand Final.
Susan Pettit, also known as Prats, shone in both the yellow and red dresses of the club and won numerous Premierships, most notably the inaugural trans-Tasman ANZ Championship in 2008. Another Swift who also starred in the Australian Diamonds uniform.
Another Sydney Swift who went on to play in the club's evolution of the NSW Swifts, Kim Green had huge success with both the club and the Australian Diamonds. A World Cup winner, she is also a former Swifts captain.
Vanessa had a standout year in the ANZ Championship inaugural season. Vanessa battled a back injury early in 2010 but returned to the court before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Vanessa worked hard to be ready to take the court at the start of the 2011 ANZ Championship season.
A former Sydney Swift, Kimberley Smith stepped up in responsibility with the NSW Swifts in 2008. One of the hardest workers in the Swifts, Kimberley was named ‘NSW Swifts Players’ Player’ in 2009 and joined Kim Green as Co-Vice Captain of the team in 2010.
Joined the NSW team in 2008 from her home town of Melbourne after playing with the Kestrels in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy. Also a decorated Diamond, she went to be a fan favourite and was voted the ANZ Championship Player of the Year in 2010.
Another dual Swift (Sydney & NSW), in one of her first ANZ Championship games she restricted Silver Fern sharpshooter Irene Van Dyk to just 29 goals, a tremendous feat for even the most experienced of goal keepers.
A former Sydney Swift and AIS Canberra Darter, Leah made her ANZ Championship debut for the NSW Swifts in Round 4 of the 2008 season. Entering the game at halftime Leah scored eight goals at GA in her debut.
Emma brought experience from the former national league with the Hunter Jaegers into the team in 2008 and made her NSW Swifts debut in Round 4 of that season at GK. Emma was voted the ‘NSW Swifts Players’ Player’ in 2008.
GA Bell was a part of the victorious 2008 ANZ Championship team but made her first on-court appearance in Round 1 of the 2009 season. She went on to be a decorated Diamond.
Samantha joined the NSW Swifts in 2009 and made her debut in Round 1 of the 2009 ANZ Championship season. She was already a capped Swift, making her elite debut as a Sydney Swift in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy.
Circle defender Jessica made her ANZ Championship debut at GK in Round 7 of the 2009 season against the Queensland Firebirds.
Shooter Amorette made her NSW Swifts debut against the Central Pulse in Round 13 of the 2009 ANZ Championship season. That was Amorette’s only appearance that year but in the next season she took the court in four games.
Midcourter Ashlee took to the court for the NSW Swifts for the first time as WA in Round 14 of the 2009 ANZ Championship season.
Courtney made her NSW Swifts debut in the 2009 ANZ Championship season, after previously training with the Hunter Jaegers.
England Captain Sonia joined the Swifts in 2010, making her debut in Round 1 of that season and helping the Swifts to the Minor Premiership.
Dynamic mid-courter Ashleigh made her NSW Swifts debut in Round 4 of the 2010 ANZ Championship.
Former Hunter Jaeger Lara was recruited by NSW Swifts coach Julie Fitzgerald to return to elite netball for the 2010 ANZ Championship season, she made her debut in Round 5 against the West Coast Fever.
Stepping into the Swifts roster to replace the injured Vanessa Ware during the 2010 season, Kristy made her NSW Swifts debut in Round 12 that year.
A Sydney Swift in the first national league, Mo’onia took the court for the first time as a NSW Swift in Round 1 of the 2011 ANZ Championship season playing against Adelaide Thunderbirds, at Wing Defence.
Carla made her NSW Swifts debut in the fourth quarter of Round 1 of the 2011 ANZ Championship. Shooting a perfect 11 goals from 11 attempts in her first game for the Swifts, it was a terrific start for the former Queensland Firebird.
April made her debut for the NSW Swifts in their Round One clash against the Adelaide Thunderbirds in the 2012 ANZ Championship season, playing Goal Keeper alongside GD Sonia Mkoloma.
Jo Sutton, a proud NSW junior, made her debut for the NSW Swifts in the opening round of the 2012 ANZ Championship playing wing defence against the Adelaide Thunderbirds.
Brought into the NSW Swifts as a temporary replacement player in the 2012 ANZ Championship, Diamonds star Paige Hadley made her debut in Round 1 against Adelaide Thunderbirds, coming onto the court at wing attack.
A talented NSW junior hailing from the Macleay Region, Kimberly made her debut for the NSW Swifts in their opening match of the 2012 ANZ Championship against Adelaide Thunderbirds as GS alongside Carla Dziwoki at GA.
Shooter Melissa Tallent made her debut for the NSW Swifts in Round 5 of the 2013 ANZ Championship, entering the match against the West Coast Fever in the fourth quarter at goal shooter.
Australian Diamonds Shooter Caitlin Thwaites made her NSW Swifts debut in the ANZ Championship in Round 1 of the 2014 league. She started at goal shooter when the NSW Swifts defeated the West Coast Fever 54-51.
NSW junior Abbey McCulloch made her NSW Swifts debut in the ANZ Championship on Sunday 2 March, 2014 when she started at wing defence against the West Coast Fever. She went on to captain the Swifts in 2017 and 2018.
Australian Diamonds defender Sharni Layton took to the court in the ANZ Championship for the first time as a NSW Swift in Round 1 of the 2014 season at goal keeper.

Hailing from the NSW Central Coast, Lauren Moore is one of the youngest debutants for the NSW Swifts in the history of the Club. Lauren entered the game during the fourth quarter at GK alongside one of her netball idols, Sharni Layton.
In 2015 Amy had the opportunity to travel with the NSW Swifts as a replacement player, which made her even more determined to make the official side in Season 2016. She did so, and made her ANZ Championship and NSW Swifts Club debut in Round 1 in 2016.
Having first represented her state as a 16-year-old, Kaitlyn Bryce successfully made the transition from NSW underage State Team athlete to NSW Swift when she took the court during the final quarter against Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic in Round 2, 2016 ANZ Championship.
Having impressed at the Netball World Cup in 2015, Trinidad & Tobago shooter Sam Wallace-Joseph joined the Swifts in 2017 for the inaugural Suncorp Super Netball season and made her debut against GIANTS Netball at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre in Round 1.

Having debuted in the ANZ Championship for the Adelaide Thunderbirds, Maddy made the move to NSW and the Swifts for the inaugural season of Suncorp Super Netball and debuted against the GIANTS in Round 1.
Another who made the move from Adelaide to the Swifts in 2017, Sarah debuted against the GIANTS in Round 1 of Suncorp Super Netball against the GIANTS, starting at GK – a position she made her own for the entire season.
Appropriate that a NSW junior would bring up the half century for the Swifts, Claire made her debut in the Red Dress in the Club’s 2017 Round 5 clash against the Fever in Perth.
Called in as a temporary replacement player to cover injuries during the 2017 season, Emily made her debut for the Swifts in the team’s Round 9 clash with the Melbourne Vixens at Qudos Bank Arena.
Selected as a training partner for the 2017 season, Sophie was called into the main squad as an injury replacement and made her debut against the Thunderbirds in Adelaide in Round 10.

A star for the Western Sting in their victorious 2017 Australian Netball League campaign, Sophie Garbin got her chance at elite level with the NSW Swifts and made her debut in Round 1 of Suncorp Super Netball 2018 with an MVP performance.
England international Natalie Haythornthwaite joined the NSW Swifts in 2018, coming in as a permanent replacement player. A Gold Medal winner with the Roses at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, she made her debut against the West Coast Fever in Round 11.
In 2017 Amorangi Malesala made her elite debut in New Zealand’s ANZ Premiership with the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic and went on to play for them in the 2018 season. In 2019 she came into the Swifts as a temporary replacement player against the Collingwood Magpies in Round 6.
Elle played for Victorian Fury in the ANL before moving to Sydney to play AFLW for the GWS Giants. However she remains first and foremost an elite netballer and was called into the Swifts as a temporary replacement player in 2019, debuting against the Giants.
Tayla was named a NSW Swifts training partner for 2019 and when injury struck she was called in as an injury replacement. She made her debut in Perth against Fever in Round 10 and went on to have an important impact role in the Swifts’ 2019 Premiership success.
With over 50 Silver Ferns caps to her name, Kayla was a great asset to call upon as a temporary injury replacement player during the 2019 season. Kayla made her debut for the team in Perth in Round 10.
Arriving after 2019 World Cup success with New Zealand, Rore debuted against the Lighting in Round 11 and went on to play a huge role in the Swifts’ path to Premiership glory.
After being called into the Team last minute before the Swift's headed to the SSN Netball Hub for 2020, Nic Styles made her debut in GD in R1 against the GIANTS.
As an official training partner for 2020, Kelly made her SSN debut in Round 3 against the Adelaide Thunderbirds, coming onto GA.
A 2021 Training Partner, Emily Burgess previously played for the Adelaide Thunderbirds and Mystics in NZ. She earned a senior cap for the Swifts as replacement in the team's Indigeous Rd win over the Magpies in 2021.
Debuting in Round 1, 2022, Allie Smith became the 66th Red Swift and 100th Swift in total (Sydney/NSW Swifts combined) since the club was founded in 1997. A special milestone for the young defender.
A proud member of the QBE Swifts Academy and a Wagga Wagga native, Sophie Fawns made her debut for the Swifts against the Melbourne Vixens in Round 2 of the 2022 title defence, coming on at Goal Shooter.
