Briony Akle

Head Coach

A former midcourt stalwart of the Swifts as a player, Briony won two premierships with the club in 2001 and 2004. After retiring from playing, she entered coaching - taking over the Swifts in 2017 and leading them to Premierships in 2019 and 2021 as well as the 2023 Grand Final. 

Dylan Nexhip

Assistant Coach

A decorated national and international defender with the NSW Opens Men’s Team and the Australian Kelpies, as well as forming a key part of Briony Akle’s coaching team, Nexhip assists in the development of pathway athletes from the QBE Swifts Academy to the senior team setup.
