Maddy Turner

Maddy Turner, 29, is a key defender for the NSW Swifts, playing primarily as Goal Defence and Wing Defence. Joining the Swifts in 2016, she quickly became a cornerstone of the team, winning two Premierships (2019, 2021) and being named 2021 Grand Final MVP. A Swifts Centurion, Maddy is one of the club's most decorated players and the second longest-serving current Swift behind Paige Hadley. She has also represented Australia in the Diamonds, though she is not in the current squad. Known for her leadership and team-first mentality, Maddy has earned respect as one of the top defenders in Suncorp Super Netball.
