After joining the Club as Major Partners in 2022, the NSW Swifts are delighted to announce that Tyrepower have signed a three-year partnership extension with the seven-time Premiers.
Australia and New Zealand’ largest independent tyre retailer, Tyrepower will also continue to serve as the Official Coaches Partner of the Swifts for the duration of the agreement.
The Tyrepower Group was formed in 1977 by 10 independent tyre retailers with the aim of offering consumers the flexibility, savings and value of an independent dealer network.
NSW Swifts Executive General Manager Kath Tetley said Tyrepower’s contract extension highlighted the company’s team ethos.
"Since Tyrepower first signed on as a partner of the Swifts they have been very keen to engage in ways they can properly support our players, staff and wider netball family,” she said.
“As our Official Coaches Partner, they gain an insight into what it takes to make an elite high-performance program work and that is a testament to their willingness to support the Swifts and their goals.”
Yael Reed, Netball NSW Executive General Manager – Commercial & Marketing, added: “Netball and the Swifts have been leading the way for women in sport for generations.
“To have respected household-known companies like Tyrepower increase their support long-term is a real sign of the code’s (and Club’s) respective brand strengths.”
Henk van Diggele, General Manager – Tyrepower, said the company was very pleased to announce the partnership extension.
“Going to a Swifts game is one of the best experiences you can have in Australian sport,” he said.
“Not only do you see some of the world’s best netballers and coaching teams in action, you see the connection that the Swifts and netball have with the NSW community and supporting that is very rewarding – we love being a part of it.
“As a company with strong links in communities all across Australia and New Zealand, we have shared values with the Swifts and we cannot wait to see what the next three years bring.”
The Swifts’ 2023 Super Netball season starts on Saturday 18 March when they face the Collingwood Magpies at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena.
