The 2023 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final will be held at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena this July, with tickets set to go on sale in two weeks.
In partnership with Visit Victoria, the most anticipated match of the year will take place on Saturday 8 July at 7.00pm AEST with tickets starting from $30 for juniors and $50 for adults.
“The Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final is the pinnacle for the world’s best netball league and we can’t wait to see it brought to life in Melbourne this July,” Netball Australia CEO Kelly Ryan said.
“Victorians know John Cain Arena as their netball hub, and we look forward to seeing fans from across the state and country come together to witness the two best teams in the league go head-to-head for premiership glory.”
The Grand Final excitement will also go beyond the court with a variety of entertainment and activities on offer, including a Grand Final lunch. Held at Centrepiece at Melbourne Park, the lunch will feature a panel with the two Grand Final coaches, with tickets to go on sale via Ticketek on Thursday 1 June at 12pm AEST.
The Melbourne Grand Final location comes after Visit Victoria was announced as a Major Partner of Netball Australia from 2023 to 2026, showcasing netball at the national and international levels in the state.
“Major events like the Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final cement our position as the nation’s sporting capital while attracting visitors to Melbourne and supporting local jobs,” said Victorian Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events Steve Dimopoulos.
“We proudly back netball and Victoria will welcome fans from around the country for the Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final at John Cain Arena this July.”
Subscribers to Netball Nation and Suncorp Super Netball club members will have exclusive access to Grand Final tickets on Wednesday 31 May between 12.00pm and Thursday 1 June 11.00am.
General public tickets go on sale on Thursday 1 June at 12:00pm AEST.
