It’s one of the biggest events in international sport and the Australian Diamonds are looking to bring Commonwealth Games gold back down under.
The Games get started in Birmingham next week and the NSW Swifts will have Paige Hadley and Sarah Klau flying the flag for us in the UK.
Of course, another proud Swift will also be playing – and gunning for back-to-back gold medals –that’s our very own Helen Housby.
But while we’re wishing Helen (and fellow double Swifts champion Nat Metcalf – nee Haythornthwaite) the best for the Games, it’s fair to say we’re backing our girls in the Green & Gold.
To help our Swifts Family enjoy the feast of netball coming up, here’s an overview of the Diamonds’ schedule.
