The NSW Swifts would like to thank Sharni Lambden for her contribution to the Club as she leaves after two seasons.
Lambden joined the Club after progressing through the Victorian pathway and made her Swifts debut against the West Coast Fever in Round 1 of 2025.
The wing defence went on to feature in every regular-season and Finals Series match, establishing herself as a key member of the Swifts’ line-up.
Her athleticism, versatility and work rate made her a valuable contributor on court, while her humility and resilience earned her the respect of her teammates and coaches.
Swifts Executive General Manager Jeremy Butler said Lambden should be incredibly proud of what she achieved during her time in the Red dress.
“Sharni arrived at the Swifts with an enormous amount of potential and very quickly showed that she belonged at this level,” he said.
“Her athleticism and work rate are exceptional, but what really stands out about Sharni is the way she goes about her netball.
“She embraced every challenge that came her way and became such an important part of our defensive unit.
“She will always be part of our Family and we wish her all the best for the future.”
