NSW Swifts shooter Samantha Wallace-Joseph is unavailable for the team’s Suncorp Super Netball Round 9 clash with the Sunshine Coast Lightning due to a private matter.
The Club is currently working with Wallace-Joseph and her management team on the matter and no further comment will be made at this time.
In other team news co-captain Maddy Proud, pictured above, has now recovered from a knee injury and will return for Saturday evening’s clash at Ken Rosewall Arena (5pm AEST).
Proud has been out of action since Round 4 and is set to play Game 99 for the Swifts.
Rookie athlete Grace Whyte will be retained in the Swifts’ attacking department this weekend.
The Swifts currently sit outside the top-four on goal percentage, just behind the Lightning who also have a 3-5 win-loss ratio so far this year.
