The 2024 Suncorp Super Netball season may still be over two-and-a-half months away, but the NSW Swifts are delighted to announce that the seven-time Premiers have already surpassed last year’s Membership total.
So far, well over 4,500 netball fans have signed up as Members with the seven-time Premiers for their 2024 campaign when Briony Akle’s troops will aim to reach a fourth Grand Final in six seasons and deliver a third title in the same time period.

Akle, who has kept the core of her double-Premiership winning Super Netball side locked in, said the Membership figures so far for this year were phenomenal.
“To see that so many fans have connected with the Club already, is brilliant and shows the appreciation sports fans in NSW and beyond have for the team.
“To think we have Members travelling from places like Coffs Harbour, Canberra, Tasmania and beyond week in and week out to watch the team play really fills us with a sense of both pride and duty. We want to repay the faith and commitment shown to the team and the Club, and we never take this for granted.
“Last year we sold out Ken Rosewall Arena on a number of occasions because we have a wonderful sports product, which is not just the standout women’s sport competition in Australia, but one of the best of all competitions in the country.
“I would like to personally thank everyone who has signed up so far because Members are the heartbeat of our Club.
“To be well on the way to 5,005 Members, which is our all-time Club record, the majority of whom are Full-Season or 3-game Members, fills my heart with joy.
“It’s not just the team on court that makes this happen, there is a brilliant office crew that have driven our campaign so far and I cannot wait to see how many more Members we can get on board before the first home game in Round 2.
“If you are a passionate netball fan, or just a sports fan in general, and looking for world-class, world-leading sport on your doorstep then I really encourage you to get on board.”
Kath Tetley, Executive General Manger of the Swifts, said Memberships to suit all fans were still available.
“We’ve had an amazing up take so far and that’s a testament to not just the team, but our amazing Swifts fanbase – many of whom have been on deck since 1997,” she said.
“While some Membership premium allocations have been exhausted, there are still great lower-bowl member seat options available, but to be honest every seat at Ken Rosewall Arena gives you a brilliant view of the action on court.
“After missing out on a third title in five years by the narrowest of margins in 2023, I know Briony, the team and the whole Club are more determined than ever to bring Premiership No.8 back to Sydney and NSW and we’d love to have you join our family.”
