2026 Memberships have surpassed last year’s number of 5,700, with this year’s number to increase as the season unfolds.
Head Coach Briony Akle was delighted with the Membership numbers ahead of the team’s first home game of the year on Sunday.
“It is great to see the club continue to grow. From playing myself, to seeing where the club is now, it is promising to see where these numbers will take us for years to come”, she said.
Over 10,000 tickets have already been sold for the Round 2 Double Header at Qudos Bank Arena where the Swifts will face the Mavericks (5pm) and the Giants will play the Vixens (3pm).
The previous attendance record for a season game at Qudos Bank Arena was set in 2016, with 13,500 fans in attendance.
The Swifts are looking to make history this weekend and set a world record for a netball crowd, especially after 55,000 fans attended Swifts-hosted games across the 2025 Suncorp Super Netball regular season.
“Breaking another Membership record is a testament to the passion and loyalty of our Swifts family”, said Jeremy Butler, Executive General Manager.
“It is incredibly special to see so many supporters getting behind the team.
“It is an exciting time for the club, and we are looking forward to building on this momentum throughout the 2026 season.”
