The NSW Swifts shattered their all-time Membership record ahead of the opening round of the 2025 Suncorp Super Netball season, marking a significant milestone for one of Australia’s most iconic netball clubs.
"It's a huge achievement to break the Membership record ahead of our opening home game,” NSW Swifts Executive General Manager, Jeremy Butler said.
"The Swifts have a dedicated fan base across New South Wales and the new record is a clear indication that our supporters are excited about what Season 2025 holds for the club.”
Membership has already surpassed last year’s record of 5,324—set in July 2024—with a new high of 5,348 reached before the first centre pass of the season. With interest continuing to grow, even more Memberships are expected to be snapped up as the season unfolds.
Driven by a renewed sense of connection, community, and atmosphere, Swifts Memberships have proven more popular than ever. Lower Bowl Memberships sold out in record time, and four categories are now completely exhausted—highlighting the unmatched demand to be part of the Swifts’ journey in 2025.

With Membership offering more than just tickets, fans are embracing the chance to feel involved and connected to their team on and off the court. The Gold Membership—granting access to all seven Swifts home games and priority ticketing should the team qualify for finals—is proving to be the best way to secure premium seats. A personalised Membership pack adds an extra layer of excitement for fans young and old.
The Membership momentum comes on the back of a spectacular start to the season, with the Swifts delivering a statement 67–49 win over the West Coast Fever, at RAC Arena.
In front of a packed and vocal Perth crowd, the Swifts dominated every quarter with poise, chemistry, and a clinical edge. Star Kiwi recruit Grace Nweke had a debut to remember, scoring over 50 goals and combining her athleticism with elite positioning to leave the Fever defense scrambling. The team’s 86% shooting accuracy was a testament to their ruthless execution.
"The arrival of Grace Nweke, Sharni Lambden and Verity Simmons to join an already talented squad has sparked a heightened level of interest in the Swifts this year, as we chase an eighth Premiership,” Butler said.
Round 1 saw packed venues around the country, signalling the continued rise of netball and the power of fan engagement in the SSN. A bumper crowd is expected to cheer on the NSW Swifts when they play their first home game at 7pm, Saturday 12 April at Ken Rosewell Arena.
"We look forward to seeing all of our Members enjoying the best game day experience in Australian sport at our opening home game against the Mavericks on Saturday night,” Butler added.
"There is a limited number of premium seats left for the game, so if you are not a Member yet grab a ticket and join in the fun at Ken Rosewall Arena."
The message is clear—Swifts fans are ready, loud, and all in for 2025.
