The NSW Swifts are delighted to announce that prints of Club artworks which were gifted to the Melbourne Vixens and Giants during Suncorp Super Netball's First Nations Rounds are now available for purchase from Ngandabaa Aboriginal Art.
Designed by proud Yuin woman Rheanna Lotter, and priced from $41 (depending on size, framing etc), the prints below were designed with the netball community in mind and how those who participate in the game "Stand Together" win, lose or draw.
"The artwork 'Stand Together' was inspired by the moment in time, at the end of a netball game, when both teams stand together as one and celebrate the inclusion of all players," Lotter says.
"The centre of the artwork symbolises a meeting place, which for players, is the court they come together on week after week. The U shapes symbolise the players, represented in the colours of their clubs.
"Boomerangs are a symbol of strength and adversity, standing for the hurdles that we overcome in our netball journeys. The journey lines coming in from the top and bottom corners represent the different places each of the players, officials and fans have come from, coming together to share a common goal and love for the sport of netball."
