Netball Australia has announced the return of the Super Netball Reserves competition for its third year.
Every match will be available for fans to livestream, and greater alignment to the Suncorp Super Netball fixture and enhancements to the SN Reserves finals weekend are set to strengthen the competition’s role in the national pathway in 2026.
The Swifts will once again be represented by the QBE Swifts Academy.
SN Reserves will run alongside the SSN season, providing emerging talent with invaluable match play opportunities as a bridge between state-level competition and the world’s best netball league.
The competition will also provide valuable opportunities for coaches, umpires and support staff to gain experience within a national framework.
Teams will compete in a home-and-away format, this year with 20 of the 28 regular round matches played at SSN venues on SSN game days, and for the first time, every match will be livestreamed on KommunityTV and CODE Sports with News Corp signing on as official broadcast partner.
This year’s finals weekend will be hosted at Sydney’s Netball Central from 12–14 June in partnership with Destination NSW. Aligning with Round 14 of SSN, fans will be able to watch the SN Reserves Grand Final before crossing to the nearby Ken Rosewall Arena for the NSW derby, where the Giants will host the NSW Swifts.
Tasmania, the Northern Territory and ACT will compete in a play in tournament (9–11 June) to determine seedings for the finals weekend, which this year will also feature semi final fixtures for the top four teams.
The SN Reserves Finals Weekend is proudly supported by the NSW Government via its Tourism and Major Events agency, Destination NSW.
