2020 NSW Swifts debutante Kelly Singleton will return to the club as a Training Partner for the 2021 Suncorp Super Netball season.
The 22-year-old NSW junior, who originally hails from the Manly Warringah Netball Association, made her elite debut in the Swifts' Round 3 win over the Adelaide Thunderbirds in the Super Netball hub in Queensland this year.
Last year she was selected for the inaugural QBE Swifts Academy Program having been also served as a Training Partner for the Premiership-winning 2019 campaign.
Swifts Head Coach Briony Akle said Singleton really grew as a player in 2020:
"Heading into the Queensland hub was very daunting for everyone but Kelly, like so many others, just put her head down and put in a great effort.
"She proved herself to be a really vital squad player and, having seen her come through the Australian Netball League and NSW State Teams, it was a really special moment to watch her debut.
"We were well on top in that game against Adelaide but I remember Kelly was even cooler under pressure in a tight game against Sunshine Coast Lightning in Round 7.
"Given injuries are such a part of the game, it's vital that we have a very strong team of Training Partners working alongside our main roster. Kelly is a wonderful addition to that."
The Swifts will name additional Training Partners for the 2020 season in due course.
