The NSW Swifts can confirm that 2023 Training Partner and QBE Swifts Academy athlete Chelsea Mann has suffered an ACL injury.
The 21-year-old midcourter sustained the injury in the side’s Round 1 of the Australian Netball Championships win over the Victorian Fury in Queensland on Monday.
Mann was taken was taken from the court after pulling up in the first quarter with scans later confirming the injury.

“She has been focused and working so hard in the lead up to this campaign and was performing beautifully.
“However, we know that Chelsea’s positive mindset, tenacity and drive will now be refocused on her rehab and we can’t wait to see her back on court better than ever.”
Mann is one of NSW’s finest up-and-coming midcourters who has been a Swifts Training Partner since 2022. She recently won the Netball NSW Premier League Opens title with the Manly Warringah Sapphires.
