One of the NSW Swifts' most decorated and influential defenders is locked in for 2027, with Diamonds star Sarah Klau recommitting to the Club.
A two-time Premiership winner and Swifts Centurion, Klau has been a cornerstone of the Club's defensive unit since arriving in Sydney ahead of the 2017 season.
Klau brings elite experience and leadership to the squad being pieced together by new Head Coach Dylan Nexhip.
Fresh from claiming Bronze with the Diamonds at the Commonwealth Games, Klau said she is excited by the opportunity to continue representing the Swifts.
"This Club has become home for me and I'm incredibly excited to be staying for another season," Klau said.
"I've been fortunate to experience so many special moments over the past 10 years, and I still feel there's plenty more to achieve with this group.
"Pulling on the Swifts dress is so special to me and I can't wait to get back out there in 2027."
Nexhip said retaining one of the game's premier defenders was a significant moment for the Club.
"Sarah has been an important part of this program for a long time and we're thrilled she'll remain with us in 2027," Nexhip said.
"She's one of the most respected defenders in world netball and a senior figure within our environment. The consistency she brings every day is a testament to her work ethic and resilience.
"Sarah's professionalism, competitiveness and ability to embrace the pressure and deliver in the biggest moments make her an invaluable part of the future we're building at the Swifts."
The Swifts will make further 2027 player announcements in due course.
