The Swifts are delighted to announce that over 50 NSW netball clubs and associations have signed up for 2021 Club Memberships.
Introduced this year, the NSW Swifts Club Membership is part of an initiative entitled 'Let Them See What They Can Be' which has the goal of providing netball clubs an easy, cost-effective way to reward their participants by taking them to see Australia’s most successful elite side in action.
Thanks to the Club Membership up to an additional 2600 grassroots participants, coaches, volunteers and officials now have the opportunity experience a Swifts home game during the 2021 Suncorp Super Netball regular season. See how the Membership works HERE.
Swifts Executive General Manager Nikki Horton said she was delighted to see so many in the netball community get behind the initiative.
"This is not just something the Swifts are looking to do in 2021, this is a starting point for our elite game to properly engage with the grassroots," she said.
"Since 1997 the Swifts have been at forefront of the mission to ensure women and young girls have sporting role models they can see regularly.
"Nothing beats going to a live game and seeing how the professionals do it at the very top level. Now at a home like Ken Rosewall Arena we finally have the capacity to increase our Membership base, which was previously capped due to venue sizes.
"We want these 50-plus grassroots clubs, associations and schools to be partners with us from here on, and we hope to see even more join up next season and beyond."
