At a record breaking SSN Grand Final, former Swifts and Diamonds champion Liz Ellis had one clear message; Netball is stepping into our power.
More than one million people play netball in Australia, we are the number one sport for women and girls, and the world is taking notice.
We’re breaking ground on and off the court.
Over 15,000 fans packed out Rod Laver Arena for the Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final. The league set a new all-time home and away attendance record with 343,634 fans filling arenas across the country week in and week out, while broadcast audiences tuned into first-class coverage across Foxtel, Kayo and for the first time ever, BINGE.
Netball’s global reach has skyrocketed with Whoopi Goldberg’s AWSN expanding broadcast to over 65 new countries.
In addition to Inverleigh’s 24/7 linear sports channel, UNBEATEN pushing netball to 300 million active users in North America.
The Australian Diamonds continue to rank as the best in the world and in 2026 they’ll be shooting for back-to-back Commonwealth Games gold medals. Followed by a Netball World Cup on home soil in Sydney, coinciding with Netball Australia’s centenary.
But we’re thinking bigger. Brisbane 2032.
Imagine it, the Diamonds chasing gold on home soil. An electric atmosphere, spectacular skills, and the global spotlight on a sport that truly deserves it.
Netball on the world’s greatest sporting stage, it’s time. But we need YOUR voice to make it happen.
We’re calling on every fan, player, coach, umpire and volunteer to join our mission.
