The NSW Swifts' Round 9 Suncorp Super Netball clash against the Sunshine Coast Lightning on Saturday night will double as the Club's Official Crazy Hair & Sock Round to support The Kids' Cancer Project.
Long time partners of the Swifts, TKCP is an independent national charity supporting childhood cancer research.
The Swifts and the wider NSW netball community have helped raise over $1million to fight childhood cancer so far.
The main aim of TKCP is to provide scientists with the funding they need to make discoveries, translate pioneering research, advance treatments and build support programs that will improve survival rates for all young people with cancer and allow them to thrive after treatment.
Once again in 2024, netball clubs and associations from across NSW can go crazy with loony locks and silly socks any time of the year by hosting their own Crazy Hair & Sock Day!
The goal is to be bright and colourful and help raise awareness and funds by doing something fun for a serious cause. All it takes is some crazy socks and loopy hair to get involved.
It's really easy for netball teams to register and help make a difference! They can do so my registering HERE.
