The NSW Swifts are delighted to announce that Sunday’s Round 12 Suncorp Super Netball clash with the Giants at Ken Rosewall Arena is officially sold out.
In a testament to the strength of netball in NSW, close to 10,000 fans will pack the stands at the home of the Swifts for a game that doubles as the Club’s First Nations Round match.
Yesterday, in front of another capacity crowd at John Cain Arena in Melbourne, the Swifts booked their Finals spot with a 70-62 win over the Vixens.
“The team are playing some exceptionally exciting netball and we know that the members and fans are ready for a huge game this weekend,” Swifts Executive General Manager Kath Tetley said.
"As of now we are at capacity and looking forward to a brilliant atmosphere at Ken Rosewall Arena - and should any stakeholder tickets become available in the coming days we will of course make them available to our fans via Ticketmaster.
“From a ticketing perspective we have been thrilled at the member and fan engagement - it really demonstrates the quality of our product and the spectacular brand of netball that the team are playing.
“Ultimately, we know that our job is to be the leading membership and ticketing product for women in sport in this country and this weekend’s game is part of that growth.
“This match also highlights the connection our game’s community has with the Swifts.
“The venue will be packed to the rafters with people from all over the State, and that we get to celebrate this during First Nations Round is exceptionally special for everyone”.
Should hand-back tickets become available the Club will keep fans up to date via social media.
