NSW Swifts Centurion Helen Housby MBE has re-signed with the Club, extending her time in the Red dress to an 11th season.
Since joining the Swifts in 2017, Housby has cemented herself as one of the Club’s modern greats, playing a pivotal role in the 2019 and 2021 Premierships.
Despite being limited to just four appearances in 2026, the England International said her belief in the Swifts and excitement for what lies ahead has only grown stronger.
"This Club means so much to me and signing on for another season was an easy decision," Housby said.
"Although 2026 didn't play out the way I had hoped personally, it hasn't changed how much I love being part of this team.
"We've got a talented group and a genuine opportunity to build something special together.
"I'm feeling refreshed, hungry and can't wait to get back out there with the girls in 2027."
Swifts Head Coach Dylan Nexhip said Housby's influence would be vital as the Club continues to shape its future.
"Helen's impact on this Club goes far beyond what she produces on court," Nexhip said.
"She's one of the most respected players in world netball and someone our younger athletes naturally gravitate towards.
"Even though Helen was sidelined for much of the season, she remained invested in the group and supported her teammates throughout which speaks volumes about her character.
"We're thrilled to have her back for 2027. The knowledge, composure and leadership she brings will be invaluable as we prepare to commence the season."
