NSW Swifts centurion Paige Hadley has signed on for a 16th season in the red dress, becoming the first Swifts star confirmed for 2027.
The two-time Premiership winner has already played 191 games for the Club since her debut in 2012 and is on the brink of becoming the most capped player in Swifts history.
Hadley, who remarkably returned to the court last season just 10 weeks after giving birth to her son, Tully, is excited about the future under new Head Coach Dylan Nexhip.
“I’ve made such great memories at this Club, and I genuinely feel there is still so much to achieve in the red dress,” Hadley said.
“Coming back to play after having Tully reminded me just how much I still love competing in this competition, being around my teammates and playing in front of our loyal Swifts Members and fans.
“The drive to continually improve and ultimately compete for another premiership with this group is stronger than ever.
“I am really proud to be a Swift and I can’t wait to see what we can build together in 2027.”
Nexhip said Hadley’s recommitment was significant for both the playing group and the Club.
“Paige exudes what it means to be a Swift,” Nexhip said.
“She has played such an important role in helping build and shape this Club, and her commitment to continually grow and improve is unmatched.
“She sets the standard every day with the intensity she brings to training, her competitiveness and her willingness to challenge herself and those around her to be better.
