NSW Swifts stars Paige Hadley and Sarah Klau have been named in the 2024 Australian Diamonds Constellation Cup squad following a successful campaign in the England Series.
Currently holding the Constellation Cup, the Diamonds will be hunting out their third consecutive win against Trans-Tasman rivals the Silver Ferns in October.
“There’s no greater challenge than playing the Silver Ferns in New Zealand, particularly based on our history,” says Diamonds Head Coach, Stacey Marinkovich.
“Not only are we trying to solidify the way we want to play, but we want to be able to do it away from home.”
“We have versatility in the rotations that we can play, and we will continue to attack the opposition in a variety of different ways.”
The Constellation Cup series begins in New Zealand in October where Hadley and Klau will face up against Swifts Head Coach Briony Akle who was recently appointed as a specialist coach with the Ferns
The duo will also come up against shooter Grace Nweke who joins the NSW Swifts in the new year for the 2025 Suncorp Super Netball season.
