NSW Swifts 2026 Most Valuable Player Grace Whyte has committed her future to the Club, re-signing for the 2027 Super Netball Season.
The 21-year-old Tumut athlete has had a remarkable rise, progressing through the NSW pathway and QBE Swifts Academy before claiming the Club's highest individual honour in June.
Her outstanding form also earned her an invitation to the Australian Diamonds training camp, further highlighting her emergence as one of the nation’s brightest young talents.
Whyte said she was excited to continue building on what she had started with the Swifts.
“The Swifts have become my home and I'm really excited to continue my journey here,” she said.
“This Club has backed me from the very beginning and I'm so grateful for the opportunities I've been given to develop as both a player and a person.
“Winning Club MVP was an incredible honour, but I know I've still got plenty to learn and I'm excited to continue doing that in this environment.”
Swifts Head Coach Dylan Nexhip said securing Whyte's commitment was an important step in building the Club's future.
“Grace has developed significantly during her time at the Swifts and we're delighted she'll continue her journey with us,” Nexhip said.
“She’s an exceptional competitor who wants to improve every single day. She embraces feedback, puts in the work and has the confidence to take on big moments.
“She's a terrific example of what our pathways can produce and we're excited to keep investing in her development because we know her best netball is still ahead of her.”
The Swifts will make further player announcements in due course.
