It was a record year for the NSW Swifts in the stands with the Club recording the biggest ticket sales and membership numbers of its 29-year history.
Over 55,000 fans attended a Swifts-hosted game across the Suncorp Super Netball regular season, a 14% increase on 2024 numbers.
Meanwhile a new milestone was set for Club Memberships with 5,700 netball fans joining the Swifts Family, an increase of over 8% from last season.
The Swifts had a crowd average of almost 8,000 fans packing out Ken Rosewall Arena in Sydney Olympic Park with the Derby against the Giants and the Round 13 First Nations Game against the Sunshine Coast Lightning pulling in 10,000-strong sellout crowds, while almost 9,000 fans came through the doors when the West Coast Fever arrived in town for a top-of-the-table clash.
Jeremy Butler, Executive General Manger of the Swifts, thanked the Club fan-base for their exceptional support across the year.
“We have had a phenomenal season of Memberships and ticket sales, and that is a real demonstration of the love and respect people have for the Swifts,” he said.
“To miss out on a Grand Final by one goal is obviously a huge disappointment, but we gave our supporters a thrilling journey along the way.
“I would like to thank Members, Fans, Commercial Partners and the wider Netball Community for being part of the journey with us this season.
“Next year is a huge one for the Swifts as its our 30th Anniversary. We can't wait to welcome everyone back in the stands as we celebrate three decades of Aussie netball’s most successful Club.
“We will have some exciting announcements to come in the weeks ahead so stay tuned.”
