Following a successful 2024 series, the NSW Swifts are proud to bring back a very special edition of Coach-to-Coach: An Evening with Briony Akle featuring Silver Ferns Head Coach Dame Noeline Taurua and newly appointed Swifts Assistant Coach (and Aussie Kelpie) Dylan Nexhip.
With New Zealand in Sydney as part of a Training Camp, new and seasoned coaches and general sports fans will have the chance to hear from learn from two of the most successful mentors in the game today as well as a rising star of the coaching world.
A double Premiership winner with the Swifts as a player and a double title winner and three-time Grand Finalist as head coach, Briony will share her thoughts on leadership, team culture and much more.
Meanwhile Noeline, who is also a double Premiership-winning SSN head coach and a World Cup-winning mentor, will talk about her learnings across two decades of coaching at the very top of the sport.
Dylan, just the third male coach to mentor at SSN level, will also provide his insight into what it takes to defend at the top club level in world netball.
Attendees will be invited to finish the night off with a complimentary drink and have the opportunity to ask questions and mingle with fellow coaches to share skills and experiences.
