It was another brilliant Suncorp Super Netball season with a number of records broken both on and off the court.

This figure was down from 8.4 the year prior.
“The 2023 Suncorp Super Netball season was one of the most fiercely competitive seasons we have ever seen. And that is reflected in the fact we had the smallest average winning margin in history,” Netball Australia CEO Kelly Ryan said.
“The athletes who step out on court are the best netballers in the world, and the Suncorp Super Netball league is the best domestic competition in the world.
“And on court performance continues to improve every year, which is incredibly exciting.”
While records were smashed on court, numbers were sky high for attendance and viewership.

The 2023 Grand Final - which was competing for the first time in the Saturday night primetime slot against the AFL, NRL and The Ashes - was also the most watched Suncorp Super Netball match ever on Foxtel, with Fox Sports linear audiences up 14 per cent compared to last year’s decider.
