Helen Housby

Helen Housby is a dynamic Goal Attack and Goal Shooter known for her clutch performances and long-range shooting. She joined the NSW Swifts in 2017 and has since become a Swifts Centurion, playing in three Grand Finals and winning two Premierships (2019 and 2021). A 2023 Club MVP, she has re-signed through to the end of 2027, extending a tenure that reached the 10-season mark in 2026. Her leadership and big-game composure have made her a cornerstone of the Swifts’ attack.

A Commonwealth Games gold medallist with England in 2018, Housby has long been recognised as one of the game’s great performers on the big stage. She made her Roses debut at 19 at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and at the 2023 Netball World Cup she was named Best Shooter and Player of the Tournament as England claimed a historic silver medal. Fearless, composed and driven, she has been a regular in the red dress and a leader for club and country.
