2010 MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General Terms and Conditions
1. Renewal Period - 2009 NSW Swifts members wishing to renew their seats, apply for a seating change or add seats to their membership group must renew their membership by 5.00pm (AEDST) Friday 15 January 2010. Any seats not renewed by this date will be made available to new members
2. All prices included in the membership brochure are inclusive of GST
3. Foundation Members – Foundation Members are members who have held their NSW Swifts membership for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. 2008 members who did not renew their membership in 2009 are not deemed Foundation Members for the purpose of the 2010 NSW Swifts membership program
4. Child, Concession and Family Memberships:a. Child: to qualify you must be aged fifteen (15) years or younger at 31 December 2010
b. Concession: Concession memberships may be purchased by persons holding a current Seniors card, Pensioners Card or Full Time Student card. Please note that Health Care cards are not accepted as a form of concession. It is a condition of these concessions that you agree to present your concession identification card upon entry to the venue, if requested.
c. Family: A Family Membership may consist of two (2) adults and two (2) children (aged up to 15 years inclusive); or one (1) adult and three (3) children. Details of all members must be completed in Step 2 of the Membership Application form.
5. Membership accounts are transferable upon receiving written authorisation from the original member requesting to transfer the membership into another name
6. If you are unable to make it to a scheduled match you may give your ticket to another person to utilise. Members are advised that the transferring of match tickets is subject to the class (eg. concession) of the memberships and memberships cannot be upgraded to gain entry to the venue.
7. All memberships are subject to the terms of entry of Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre, Newcastle Entertainment Centre, ACER Arena and any other venue utilised by the NSW Swifts as a home game venue in 2010

9. PRIVACY POLICY - Netball NSW (NNSW) respects the privacy of the individuals of whom NNSW collects, uses, discloses and holds personal information. NNSW has a Privacy Policy that is based on the National Privacy Policy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). NNSW uses the information it collects to administer the sport of netball in NSW, to provide netball activities and netball-related services, to register, select and insure participants, and to assess the level of interest in Netball.
10. Communication – The primary form of communication with members will be via email and via the Members’ section of the NSW Swifts website (www.nswswifts.com.au). It is the responsibility of the member to ensure all contact details are kept up to date. To update your membership contact details please contact Netball NSW on (02) 9951 5000 during business hours
11. The Primary Account Holder is Member 1 on your membership application form. All postal correspondence will be sent to the Primary Account Holder only. To change or update your Primary Account Holder details please contact Netball NSW on (02) 9951 5000 during business hours
12. Member Benefits:a. Member benefits are as outlined in the 2010 NSW Swifts Membership brochure. Netball NSW reserves the right to offer members additional benefits throughout the 2010 season as they become available
b. E-newsletter and exclusive communications are available to all members who provide a valid email address
13. Member Only Events - Members will have access to members’ only events throughout the 2010 season. These events are for members only and are not transferable to non-members except where specified by Netball NSW
14. Membership Benefit Packs will not be available before March 2010. Details of when and how these packs can be collected will be communicated via email to members when the details become available. Satellite membership packs will be posted at no additional cost to those members commencing in March.
15. Netball NSW reserves the right to change all or any of the package details enclosed in this guide and accompanying form. All packages are strictly sold subject to availability. Netball NSW reserves that right to decline or cancel membership at any time.
16. Member Clinic :a. Each member is entitled to attend one (1) designated membership clinic as part of their membership
b. The times and dates of membership clinics will be posted in early 2010 in the Membership section of the NSW Swifts website
c. The numbers of participants at each clinic is strictly limited. Members applying to attend a clinic that has already reached capacity will be contacted via telephone and will have the opportunity to apply for an alternate date
d. Application to attend clinics is via an application form which can be downloaded from the Membership section of the NSW Swifts website
e. Members not wishing to attend a clinic may transfer this benefit to a non-member. In this instance the application form must be filled out in full with all relevant member details and clinic attendee (non-member) details
17. Pre Season Tournament – a ticket offer will be made to members prior to the pre-season tournament in 2010. Ticket offer will be via redemption.
Red Zone Membership Terms and Conditions
1. Includes one (1) ticket per member to all seven (7) NSW Swifts home games in 2010
2. Final Series Priority ticketing offer applies to any Finals Series match hosted by the NSW Swifts. In the event the NSW Swifts contest an away Finals Series match Red Zone members will be offered priority ticketing where available and at the discretion of the TTNL (Tasman Trophy Netball Limited)
3. Ticket allocations for Newcastle Entertainment Centre and ACER Arena will reflect where possible each members’ seating allocation at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre.
4. A 10% discount on Game Night Function tickets applies to the Inner Sanctum and Insiders Series functions only. Discount is applied when tickets are purchased directly through Netball NSW. To purchase your function tickets and claim your discount, please contact the Sponsorships and Promotions Officer, Netball NSW on (02) 9951 5000 during business hours, quoting your membership number. 5. A 10% discount on the purchase of a Game Night Party Box applies when party boxes are purchased directly through Netball NSW. Satellite Membership Terms and Conditions
Ticketing:
1. Satellite membership entitles the membership holder to one (1) ticket only to one of the first three NSW Swifts home matches for the 2010 season
2. Complimentary ticket is by redemption through Netball NSW. Satellite Member Ticket Redemption forms can be downloaded from the Membership section of the NSW Swifts website. Tickets may also be redeemed by calling the Competitions and Events Officer, Netball NSW on (02) 9951 5000
3. Ticket redemption forms must be received no later than two (2) weeks prior to the match you wish to attend. Tickets available to be redeemed by Satellite members will be limited at each match and may already be exhausted before the two week deadline.
4. Tickets will be allocated on a best-available basis at the time of receiving the redemption form.
5. Additional tickets may be purchased at general admission prices when redeeming your Satellite Member ticket. Any additional ticket bookings must accompany the Satellite Member ticket redemption on the same form, and must include payment details. Additional tickets will not be available to book without an accompanying Satellite Member ticket redemption
6. Netball NSW reserves the right to withdraw the additional ticket purchase offer if available ticket allocations are exhausted
7. Where possible, tickets will be posted to the member prior to the match. In all other instances the tickets will be available for collection from Netball NSW ticket collection window at the venue on match night
8. The Final Series Priority ticketing offer applies to Finals Series matches hosted by the NSW Swifts at selected venues, dependant on venue capacity. Finals Series venues are selected by TTNL and as such TTNL have the discretion to limit member access to priority ticketing. Satellite members will receive further information regarding Final Series access in June 2010.
9. In the event the NSW Swifts contest an away Finals Series match, Satellite members will be offered priority ticketing where available at TTNL discretion.
Member Get Member Program Terms and Conditions
1. Entry is open to NSW Swifts Red Zone members whose membership payment has been approved by the closing date of the program, Wednesday 21 April 2010. ‘Top Three Recruiters’ Prizes will be awarded to the three members who recruit the greatest number of new individual Red Zone members. . The prize is a ‘Behind the Scenes Tour’ of a NSW Swifts home game which includes viewing pre-game preparation, attend the inner sanctum function and address by Julie Fitzgerald and a photo on court with players from the NSW Swifts team.
2. ‘Random Prize Draw’ – Each Red Zone member who recruits a new ‘Red Zone’ member will receive two tickets per member recruited into a random prize draw. The prize is a ‘Behind the Scenes Tour’ of a NSW Swifts home game. Two winners will be drawn at random after the advertised close date of the Member Get Member program, Wednesday 21 April 2010. Winners will be notified by telephone.
3. Prizes not redeemable for cash.
4. A new member is defined as a person who was not a member of the NSW Swifts in 2009
5. For an entry to be eligible to go into the ‘Random Prize Draw’ or ‘Top Three Recruiters’ competition, the new member must state the name of the referring 2010 NSW Swifts member in Step 4 of the Membership Application Form. If the new member purchases a membership online they must reply to the confirmation email stating the name of the referring member in order for the referring member to receive an entry into the random prize draw
6. A new member may only be referred to the NSW Swifts Membership Program by one (1) member
7. Family Memberships will be counted as four (4) separate memberships
8. The Member Get Member program will close at 5pm Wednesday 21 April 2010. All eligible membership forms received on or before this date will be included in the random prize draw and will be eligible to be a ‘Top Three Recruiter’
9. “Behind the Scenes Tour” Prize - This prize must be taken during the regular home season of the NSW Swifts in 2010 at an agreed time with Netball NSW. This prize is transferable to a party nominated by the winner should the winner be unable to attend
10. Member Get Member Welcome Function - details will be forwarded to all eligible members as soon as they become available. This function is limited to invited guests.
