Kristy Durheim, or Krit as she is known to her team-mates, is one of five new recruits for the NSW Swifts in 2012.

Durheim is no stranger to the ANZ Championship action, after joining the NSW Swifts as a replacement player at the end of the 2010 season following the season-ending knee injury to Vanessa Ware.

A creative attacker, she played a pivotal role for Manly-Warringah who won their third consecutive DOOLEYS State League Waratah Cup title in 2011.

Kristy has also been a standout for the Netball NSW Waratahs who won the 2011 Australian Netball League title going through the season undefeated.

In her first full season in the ANZ Championship, Kristy is looking forward to playing in front of a parochial home crowd when the season gets underway in March.
